I have recently returned from a three-month trip across the US, and to Europe, to meet with a number of scholars who share a fascination with Catastrophism and the accompanying depth psychology of Velikovsky’s Cultural Amnesia. It is a consuming interest for me these days, as I feel it offers tremendous insights for understanding the pathos that our modern societies are now experiencing.
This post marks a departure from earlier essays that have sought to create an informational Planet Amnesia narrative. Blogging about my experiences in researching this subject seems more important now. I am meeting interesting people and learning much as I dive further down the rabbit hole.
The core of the story will always be about the human impact from historical earth catastrophes.
